The gated secure apartment in Franschhoek was mind-blowingly close to the centre. The comfortable, clean, and well-equipped rooms had a jaw-dropping fireplace and a nice, quiet pool area. Robin, our super host, gave us plenty of tips and good advice. The location was super central and close to the wine tram, with an inverter to save us from any load shedding. The kitchen was equipped with all the cookware and utensils needed, and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a definite bonus. The convenient, safe parking right in front of the apartment was top-notch.

Sorbonne 1 - No Loadshedding exceeded my expectations with its luxurious finishes and fully stocked kitchen. The location was great, giving me the best of both worlds - close to the town center yet still providing a countryside feel. The staff, especially Robin, were pleasant and provided us with helpful tips and advice.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better is if there were more options available.

During my recent trip to Franschhoek, I had the opportunity to stay at Sorbonne 1 - No Loadshedding. While I was only there for a brief transit stay, I found the hotel to have two standout features. the location was extremely convenient. The nearest airport was just 49 km away, making it easy for me to catch my connecting flight without any hassle. the accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained. The rooms were clean, and the staff ensured that everything was in order for a pleasant stay.

There was one minor drawback that I noticed during my stay. The photos provided in the database were slightly misleading.

This apartment is perfect for nature lovers like me, as it allows me to be in direct touch with nature and experience tranquility. Having 2 bedrooms in the apartment gives me enough space to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. I love that the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and microwave, making it convenient for me to prepare meals. The flat-screen TV in the apartment is a nice addition, allowing me to catch up on my favorite shows during downtime.

Personally, I found the shower in the bathroom a bit small, but others may still find it comfortable.

Both air conditioners were not working properly, making the flat quite hot at night. Additionally, the WiFi stopped working on the second day, although the owners were working on fixing the problem.
